Spectrum Music and Entertainment was founded and is owned by Bruce Dedrick. Bruce is a musician/singer/composer/arranger with many credits, including appearances on the Tonight Show, The Merv Griffin and Michael Douglas Shows, and several album/CDs of The Free Design (a finely tuned vocal group who, after a hiatus of twenty years, recently released Cosmic Peekaboo). He has also had several compositions published and recorded over the years. As leader, MC, lead singer, trombonist, and guitarist, Bruce and Spectrum Orchestra have performed at hundreds and hundreds of catered affairs, weddings, dinner dances, Bar Mitzvahs, corporate functions, and more.

Bruce and Spectrum Orchestra have performed for the last twenty years in the Tri State Area, New England, and in the Philly, Baltimore, and DC areas. In the past, the band has opened for well known acts such as Roy Orbison and Orleans. Their repertoire is extensive, versatile, and their musicianship is second to none. In the last ten years, Bruce has expanded Spectrum Music and Entertainment to include several fine DJs and MCs. Spectrum now also features an exciting Band/DJ Combination, so that the tastes of all guests at a party can be met.

In addition to operating Spectrum Music and Entertainment, Bruce is a songwriter/composer, arranger and instructor. He performs as a single artist in clubs, restaurants, and private parties. He is active in charitable pro bono work, entertaining at nursing homes, VA hospitals and other venues where his style of humor and musical entertainment is warmly accepted.
